About The Alchemist
Hi, I'm Gabriella, but almost everyone calls me Ella. And if you're new here, I thought it was about time I actually introduced myself. I'm the person behind every candle, every botanical, every package, every email, and every little piece of Wholesomeology that finds its way into your home.

Wholesomeology is me.
It's my creativity, my spirituality, my curiosity, my love for nature, and honestly… a pretty big piece of my heart.
Wholesomeology started from my love of making things with my hands.
I've always been the kind of person who needs to create. I'll get an idea in my head and immediately want to figure out how to make it real.
I love working with natural materials, making things from scratch, learning new skills, and turning an idea into something tangible.
I'm endlessly curious and probably have far too many hobbies and projects happening at any given moment.
I love nature, beautiful spaces, meaningful objects, and anything that makes ordinary life feel a little more magical. I'm also someone who believes that everything is connected, our environments, our experiences, the things we create, the people we meet, and the intentions we carry with us. I think that's why making things has always felt so natural to me. There's something beautiful about taking raw materials and transforming them into something that holds meaning.

Over time, that creativity found its way into candles, botanicals, ritual, intention setting, and working with natural materials. I became fascinated by the idea that something as simple as lighting a candle could become a meaningful moment. You could light one when you're setting an intention, trying to let something go, grieving, celebrating, starting over, or simply when you want to make your space feel a little more magical.
There's something about fire that has always felt special to me. Maybe it's because fire asks us to slow down. You can't rush it. You have to tend to it. You watch it transform something right in front of you. And there's something incredibly grounding about sitting with a flame and allowing yourself a moment to just be.
What started as something I was simply passionate about eventually became something much bigger than I ever expected. Somewhere along the way, Wholesomeology was born. Wholesomeology has been a part of my life for six years. Six years of learning, experimenting, creating, making a lot of mistakes, trying new things, building products from scratch, packing orders at ridiculous hours, getting wax absolutely everywhere and learning what it means to build something that is completely my own.
It has grown from a creative passion into my full time income, which is something I don't take for granted for a single second because behind every order is a person choosing to spend their hard earned money on something I made.
